Studio Journal - July 4th, 2026

From the Easel

Happy 4th of July from the studio! America is officially 250 years old! WOW! The studio is currently mobile today as we are balancing art and family. That doesn’t mean I can’t get some line work done in the car today.

Behind the Brush

One thing I’m proud of is keeping my hand steady through all the Michigan potholes. By using the 005 pen first, then the 02 pen, I was able to practice my line before committing. For the most part.

Events

We have a few upcoming events coming up:

On July 5th at 2pm (tomorrow!) I will be hosting my first Facebook Live Portrait Event. Here I will be painting 8 portrait submissions given to me by some very generous patrons. I am very excited to do this event and I hope it does well so that I may do more in the future.

On July 6th we have our first round of Print Club being shipped out! I'm excited to get this piece out to our exclusive members.

On July 25th I will be at the Richland Art Fair where I will be selling some prints, originals, and of course doing some live painting. This will be of course my first art fair, and I am very excited to see how this pans out for the brand.

We also have some more events coming down the pipeline, hopefully we will have more information on that soon as we develop.

Clarkwork Corner

Although we did not get a lot done on Blood on the Ice today, we can confirm that our fighting mechanics are in “fighting” shape. And we will be having players to show soon!
