Studio Journal - July 9th, 2026
From the Easel
Today we have been able to brush on absolutely everything today. I mean this almost literally because we do paint here. We are adding a new little fairy girl to our collection today. She is a happy little fairy with her precious little lady bug. Giving a goodnight kiss. You will see her print available for purchase too.
We will also like to add that we will be adding new sizes to all prints soon as well! You'll be able to purchase 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 soon! Additionally, we are looking to add stickers and magnets to the mix. More on that soon, but the deadline for these releases will be the Richland Art Fair on July 25th!
Behind the Brush
This image was a special request from my child who is incredibly supportive of all of my prints. She eagerly awaits to ask for one for herself so that she may hang them up on her wall. It is deeply touching. For the painting we've completed today, she asked for a fairy with only one bun on the top of her head that is holding a ladybug in her hand, but they're giving a hug, and the lady bug is winking. She also requested black hair. I think I about got her what she had asked.
Events
Our scheduled events:
On July 25th I will be at the Richland Art Fair! Are very first! We will be selling prints and originals, as well as stickers and magnets. Of course we will also be offering live portraits! I am very excited for this opportunity!
On August 3rd we will be shipping out our next round of print club prints. The print above will only be available to those who sign up by July 31st. We are getting very far to a cohesive collection for you all to collect.
So yes, you will be receiving this adorable print. But you'll be receiving so much more! In the Print Club you will learn the following:
Who this fairy is
What is her birthday
What does she like to do
What is her favorite treat WITH a tried and true recipe!

A letter from the fairy herself.
We are very excited to continue to develop the print club into something you can look forward to. But please note, each month gets archived after it is released! Meaning if you don't sign up this month, you might not get everything that is listed above... Unless of course you purchase an annual or Dedicated Collector's Club membership. These are the only memberships that will have access to the archival shop.
We are on the look out for art fairs in the southwest Michigan area, and will let you know as more comes around.
Clarkwork Corner
We are chugging along on our game journey! Today we finally got rid of our player placeholders, which were once blocks, and replaced them with... Another placeholder... But we're inching along closer to the final product. Though the player still needs some geometric tweaks as it is appearing way more flat, we are getting closer to our goal of a retro-inspired hockey game! By adding the player placeholder in we accomplish a few things:
We're replacing the temporary file with the end file and the structure that comes along with it. This way, we can continue to edit the player in Blender and update with ease in Unity.
We can see the geometry in action. When the player is in Blender it is outside of it's element, but by importing it into the game in Unity, I am able to see how the player translates in the game's environment and what updates will be required.
Emotionally, it feels good to just move forward, even if it's just an inch.

🎵 Currently Listening To: Currently going through the Yellowstone series. We just finished Season 2.
😊 Studio Mood: So motivated. Especially with every project moving in motion.
🎯 Tomorrow's Goal: While today we were able to tackle many projects, tomorrow we won't have the time. So we will need to focus on one of these projects. We will probably be designing the additional features of the print club as we are so close to completion.
