From the Easel

Today has been focused on expanding another part of the Chloe.Anah brand: wedding commissions.

One of my biggest goals has always been to create artwork that becomes part of someone’s story, and weddings are filled with those moments. Whether it’s a first dance, a proposal, a favorite photograph, or a meaningful location, I love the idea of preserving those memories in paint.

Behind the Brush

Not every lesson comes from a paintbrush.

While reviewing the commission request process, we discovered a mistake on the commission request form that could have created some confusion for future patrons. Thankfully, we caught it before it became much of an issue and have updated everything so the process should be much smoother going forward.

Building a business is a lot like building a painting. You sketch, step back, notice something that isn’t quite right, make a correction, and continue moving forward. Every small improvement makes the next commission a little easier than the last.

Events

Our scheduled events:

On July 25th I will be at the Richland Art Fair where I will be selling some prints, originals, and of course doing some live painting. This will be of course my first art fair, and I am very excited to see how this pans out for the brand.

On August 3rd we will be shipping out our next round of print club prints. The print above will only be available to those who sign up by July 31st. Otherwise, you will miss out on this little girl and she will get archived and will only be available to those with archive access.

We are on the look out for art fairs in the southwest Michigan area, and will let you know as more comes around.

Clarkwork Corner

Development continues behind the scenes at Clarkwork Studios. Even on days when the work isn’t flashy, every improvement, system, and planning session brings us one step closer to our long-term goal of sharing our games with the world.

Steady progress is still progress.
