Studio Journal - July 7th, 2026

From the Easel

Today was a very lucrative day. We got our August print club complete and ready to develop into a print. I do feel like her energy just exudes summer vibes with her red flowy sleeves and red rain boots with her overalls going through a rainstorm. Over the next couple weeks I'll be developing some stickers and a small story to go with this little fairy. What do you think should be her pet? A frog as happy as her? A turtle trying to remind her to slow down and enjoy the little things? Or something different?

Behind the Brush

There wasn't a whole log that I was disappointed with when it came to this piece. It turned out exactly as I had envisioned. The only disappointment I have is that this is a print club exclusive. Which is a shame because it would be perfect for our upcoming art fair. Even though I am the one who makes the rules. But rules are rules even if you're the one that made them.

Events

Our scheduled events:

On July 25th I will be at the Richland Art Fair where I will be selling some prints, originals, and of course doing some live painting. This will be of course my first art fair, and I am very excited to see how this pans out for the brand.

On August 3rd we will be shipping out our next round of print club prints. The print above will only be available to those who sign up by July 31st. Otherwise, you will miss out on this little girl and she will get archived and will only be available to those with archive access.

We are on the look out for art fairs in the southwest Michigan area, and will let you know as more comes around.

Clarkwork Corner

Same update as yesterday: We were discussing that once we have a viable beta for Blood on the Ice that we should have the beta free for users to provide feedback. A big goal of ours is to have both players who know and love the hockey sport and those who do not can both enjoy our brutal game. Coming down the pipeline for BOTI we will be getting the player's framework complete and then we will be turning our attention to the UI and title screens.
