Studio Journal - July 10th, 2026
From the Easel Today we made a lot of headway on our little treasures! Bookmarks, stickers, and magnets are well under way! We are excited to see what the end result will end up being. Behind the Brush Today we acknowledge that we are moving a lot of parts at once and we may need to spend more than one day focusing on one piece. But in the art of business and manufacturing - Which art is really just the smallest and most intricate form of manufacturing - and there are a lot o

From the Easel Today we have been able to brush on absolutely everything today. I mean this almost literally because we do paint here. We are adding a new little fairy girl to our collection today. She is a happy little fairy with her precious little lady bug. Giving a goodnight kiss. You will see her print available for purchase too. We will also like to add that we will be adding new sizes to all prints soon as well! You'll be able to purchase 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 soon! Additi

From the Easel Today has been focused on expanding another part of the Chloe.Anah brand: wedding commissions. One of my biggest goals has always been to create artwork that becomes part of someone’s story, and weddings are filled with those moments. Whether it’s a first dance, a proposal, a favorite photograph, or a meaningful location, I love the idea of preserving those memories in paint. Behind the Brush Not every lesson comes from a paintbrush. While reviewing the commiss

From the Easel Today was a very lucrative day. We got our August print club complete and ready to develop into a print. I do feel like her energy just exudes summer vibes with her red flowy sleeves and red rain boots with her overalls going through a rainstorm. Over the next couple weeks I'll be developing some stickers and a small story to go with this little fairy. What do you think should be her pet? A frog as happy as her? A turtle trying to remind her to slow down and en

From the Easel Today was not a lot of art making today. Just some minor sketching. We primarily focused on the admin work. Our live portraits that were made from yesterday's stream were shipped today to their loving homes. We received a lot of positive feedback. We also just started our very own TikTok account. So we will be managing that steadily with a similar cadence to our studio journal here. Behind the Brush While I was looking forward to hosting TikTok lives, I did lea

From the Easel Today was our first ever Live Stream event! It was hosted on my private Facebook page for my families and friends and patrons! It was a beautiful time where I took 8 preordered portraits and painted them live. It was initially to prepare myself to paint in front of potentially hundreds of potential patrons. I would say it was a pretty big success. Additionally, we did finish our little witch girl yesterday. While I did record it, the video ended up being a 39 m

From the Easel Happy 4th of July from the studio! America is officially 250 years old! WOW! The studio is currently mobile today as we are balancing art and family. That doesn’t mean I can’t get some line work done in the car today. Behind the Brush One thing I’m proud of is keeping my hand steady through all the Michigan potholes. By using the 005 pen first, then the 02 pen, I was able to practice my line before committing. For the most part. Events We have a few upcoming ev

Special Note from Chloe.Anah Welcome, dear reader, to my first ever blog post! I have never written one of these before. Though I have written many Facebook posts over the years, this would be my first ever long blog post. Between you and me, I think keeping a public studio journal is a wonderful excuse to slow down for a few minutes every day and reflect on what I'm creating. Hopefully it gives you a chance to see not only the finished artwork, but also the journey behind it
